"Thus may we be those that make existence brilliant."

Just got off the phone with Michael Gulezian. He'll be in Chicago tomorrow night for a friend's Passover party. (wtf?) Ironically, tomorrow night I'll be enjoying his home town Nashville.

I know this is antisocial of me, but right now I'm blogging at the dinner table in Barrington, Neil Diamond in the background, with Ada, Ba, Gin Gin, and Carolynn. Gin Gin's chomping on an apple we just bought at Sam's Club while Ba and Ada lecture me about the merits of safe driving. Oh, and Carolynn is nom'ing on her plastic set of keys. Ada continues to tell me about Pennsylvania mountain driving thinking I only plan to visit Travis. Instead, I've planned something with a greater length. If Roxanne doesn't die, we'll track across the eastern half of the land of beer, football, and phobia of bad breath.

Monday - Chicago to Nashville
Tuesday - Nashville to Greensboro
Wednesday - Greensboro to D.C.
Thursday - D.C. to University Park
Friday - University Park to Cleveland
Saturday - Cleveland to home

A little over 2000 miles in 6 days. I've packed more junk food than clothing, On The Road, a pack of All-Natural American Spirit (full flavor), and barely enough money for gas. I don't know why I'm doing this yet, but I've never been one to sit on my ass all day. Danny says I'm better off drinking heavily with friends.
